Calaveras Community Foundation Receives Donation from Raley’s Stores
The Raley’s Family of Fine Stores has recently donated $1,000 to the Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF). The 2014 contribution continues the partnership between Raley’s and CCF. This donation will support a wide range of non-profit organizations and worthy causes in the Calaveras Community. The Raley’s Family Foundation has maintained a determined commitment to support the local community in both Amador and Calaveras Counties.
“It is our pleasure to continue our partnership between the Calaveras Community Foundation and the Raley’s Family,” said Craig Alleger, the Jackson Store Director. “The Raley’s Family has a special interest in contributing to the local food bank and to non-profit efforts and individuals in Calaveras County who are seeking financial support. It is our goal in working with the Foundation to assist as many worthwhile causes in Calaveras as possible that would otherwise go without help.”
“We are extremely grateful to Raley’s Family of Fine Stores for their continued interest and commitment to help Calaveras families in need in these hard economic times,” said, Paul Stein, Vice President of the Foundation. “Through Raley’s generosity, we will continue to advance our important initiatives: The Senior Initiative; the Career and Technical Training Initiative; and STEM—Science, Technology Engineering and Math Initiative and a new initiative for 2014, County Youth. We look forward to working with Raley’s to advance these exciting initiatives.”
